  2. Create the planned encrypted snapshot and check its recorded integrity.

  3. Perform an operator-approved test restore and record the verified scope and result.

Would include only datasets declared by participating product contracts and their backup metadata; it would not capture all device data, manage passwords, or assume signing authority.

Vault would preserve and restore approved data; Guard would detect endpoint drift and prepare remediation proposals.
